Common optimization design methods for stainless steel stamping parts:
1. Empirical method
This method is mainly based on some empirical calculation formulas, so its application range is affected, and it is mainly applied to expandable stamping parts with relatively simple shapes (such as rotating parts, bending parts, or stamping parts composed of these simple shapes). In general, the method of developing the free-form surface of plate parts from experience is a makeshift method, and its accuracy is affected by many factors such as the richness of user experience, the empirical formula adopted, and the selection of specific process parameters. Its accuracy needs to be further improved.
2. Geometric mapping method:
They believe that the mapping from the workpiece to the blank can be realized based on certain assumptions, regardless of boundary conditions such as deformation force, motor housing stress-strain relationship, and boundary friction. First, the wooden model is meshed, and the position coordinates of the nodes are obtained by using a coordinate measuring instrument. Or directly divide the grid in the computer from the CAD model. Assuming that the thickness of the stamping part remains constant during the forming process, and the area of the grid before and after deformation is constant, the three-dimensional space grid is mapped to the two-dimensional plane, so that the initial blank shape and the stress distribution of the workpiece can be inferred.
3. Simulation method:
The simulation method is based on the similarity of mathematical descriptions of many physical problems under certain assumptions, through mathematical similarity theory, and using models composed of other physical media to simulate the metal flow of sheet metal flanges.
